Audi: The A3 Allstreet comes with its own look 🎥
UPGRADE The compact class representative of the four rings, the A3, is once again available as a model updated hatchback and sedan as well as a new Allstreet with more ground clearance and a striking off-road look.
The A3, with which Audi launched the premium compact class segment almost three decades ago in 1996, is now even sportier and more comfortable. The significantly extended standard equipment and new materials are also new.
The A3 Allstreet (gallery), the crossover version of the A3 family, is being launched as a new model variant. With its off-road look, three centimetres more ground clearance and raised seating position, it offers an SUV-like driving experience.
Stephan Fahr-Becker, Team Leader Exterior Design: "As a crossover in the premium compact class, it has a completely unique look. The aim was to emphasize the greater ground clearance even more clearly with specific design elements."
Specific spring/damper tuning
Dark door sill trims and attachment strips in the lower section of the doors reinforce the powerful look and show the increased ground clearance. The suspension of the Allstreet has a 15 millimeter higher trim level compared to the Sportback with standard suspension. The specific spring/damper set-up offers a good balance between high ride comfort and a sporty driving feel. Wide wheel arches emphasize the wheel arches, which are fitted with 17-inch wheels as standard, making them one dimension larger than on the A3 Sportback. Optional 18- and 19-inch wheels are also available. As with the A3 Sportback, the luggage compartment has a capacity of 380 liters, and up to 1200 liters with the rear seat bench folded down. The roof rails are standard.
Different daytime running light signatures
The A3 Sportback and Sedan have been upgraded. The hexagonal Singleframe has become flatter and wider and dominates the front section. A striking front spoiler makes the A3 look lower. The same applies to the rear, which is particularly sporty with its new bumper and striking diffuser.
For the first time in the A3 series models, it is possible to select up to four different daytime running light signatures in the MMI. The digital daytime running lights are formed by 24 pixel elements on three lines in both the LED and matrix LED headlights.
The A3 Sportback as a 35 TFSI S tronic costs from 42,050 francs in Switzerland, and the A3 Allstreet starts at 41,650 francs.
