Audi: A4 also as S4 and Allroad quattro

TRUSTED DESIGN Despite its renewed body, the A4 has remained unmistakably an Audi. Derivatives include the S4 sports car and the Allroad quattro. Only the roof and the hood have remained. Typical for the new edition are the front end and the sharply drawn beading on the sides.

The A4 has been Audi's flagship model for a quarter of a century. Now, after a four-year run, generation five is being given a major facelift. In the new design language dictated by the A8 luxury model, the A4 and S4 midsize pair looks more streamlined and sporty than ever.

Standard with LED lights
The striking single-frame radiator grille has become wider and flatter, the air intake openings even larger, and the headlights now feature LED technology as standard. The Sedan and Avant have each grown by 24 millimeters in length to 4762 millimeters and by 5 millimeters in width to 1847 millimeters.
A striking feature of the interior is the infotainment system with 10.1-inch touchscreen. The Virtual Cockpit Plus with three surfaces is available on request. In the Avant, of which Audi is expected to have a 95 percent share in Switzerland, the separation net and roof rails are standard.

Modern gasoline engines ...
From the start of sales in the fall, the A4 will be available with three gasoline engines and one diesel engine in the power range from 150 to 245 hp. The two gasoline engines with 190 and 245 hp, the 40 TFSI and the 45 TFSI, are a particularly good fit for the mid-size touring sedan.
Equipped with Quattro ultra all-wheel drive, which immediately engages rear-wheel drive when required, perfect driving characteristics are guaranteed even in more difficult road conditions. The car does not noticeably switch between front-wheel and all-wheel drive for the driver.

... and a husky diesel
Parallel to the A4, there is also an S4 again: in Europe, however, now exclusively with a 3-liter V6 diesel engine with an electrically driven compressor. With its 700 Nm and 347 hp, the top model in the series accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
Prices for the A4/S4 models range from 47,100 to 82,100 Swiss francs. The Allroad Quattro 40 TDI (190 hp) variant with some off-road jewelry, black wheel arch linings, underride protection and 35 millimeters more ground clearance is available from 59 350 francs.
