As with the coupe launched in 2018, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 510 hp and 685 Newton meters of torque works under the long hood, transmitting its power via an eight-speed automatic from ZF.
The Vantage Roadster accelerates from zero to 96 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 306 km/h.
Extra weight of 60 kilograms
The convertible weighs just 60 kilograms more than the coupe - thanks to a new, very lightweight roof mechanism that folds in a Z-shape and revisions to the body and chassis. The soft top can be opened and closed at speeds of up to 50 km/h in less than seven seconds, even while driving. The trunk offers a capacity of 200 liters - enough for a large golf bag and accessories, the manufacturer notes.
