Aston Martin: Almost like a Formula 1 bolide
STRONG SHOW The new Valkyrie hypercar model from Aston Martin offers driving performance that comes close to a Formula 1 car. The ultra-fast vehicle made its first major appearance before the F1 GP in Bahrain.

The environment of the F1 opening race in Bahrain provided the ideal stage (see report) for the first public dynamic appearance of the Aston Martin Valkyrie. The car is designed to show what is possible in racing and sports cars.
The focus is of course on the free-suction 6.5-liter V12, which delivers a good 1,000 hp at 11,000 rpm. But the aerodynamics have also been optimized so that they are now said to be as sophisticated as in Le Mans cars.
All in all, the Valkyrie AMR Pro is able to come close to Formula 1 cars with its driving performance, the manufacturers state.
Perfect car with a super sound
At the appearance in Bahrain, Dirk Müller sat behind the wheel of the fast Aston Martin: "That was incredible. The car comes closer to Formula 1 performance than any other car I've driven. The power, the handling, the grip, everything is perfect."
Since V12 engines have not been used in Formula 1 for a long time, the sound of the Valkyrie's Cosworth V12 also brought back memories of times past for fans.
Driving experience on different slopes
For future owners of one of the 40 Valkyries, Aston Martin will be offering a special driving experience on various race tracks from next fall. The program includes circuits such as Yas Marina, Silverstone, Nürburgring, Fuji and Austin.
