Emmanuel Guigou, multiple French champion in the two-wheel-drive category, and Laurent Pellier, French Junior Rally Champion 2015, accompanied the intensive development program from the driving side.

With the specifications drawn up by Alpine, the specialist Signatech designed and developed a rally version based on the lightweight aluminum frame of the Alpine A110 GT4 and Cup version. This in turn was further developed from the series version.

Additional modifications and adaptations to the chassis and body ensure that the latest version of the A110 meets all future rally racing requirements. These include the suspensions with hydraulic stops, new Brembo brakes and safety elements such as the FIA-homologated roll cage or the Sabelt 6-point harnesses.

A car for every level
The 1.8-liter turbo four-cylinder engine from the production model has been adapted precisely to the requirements of rally sport, both in terms of torque curve and maximum output of more than 300 hp. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a sequential 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited slip differential with limited slip.

The basic settings have been defined in such a way that the A110 Rallye is as versatile as possible. Drivers at every level should be able to exploit its full potential. So professional drivers, gentleman drivers and young up-and-coming talent.

Not only experienced people, but also newcomers should get behind the wheel.

Premiere in France
At the same time, Signatech and Alpine are preparing the homologation according to FIA R-GT in cooperation with the French motorsport authority FFSA. This should be completed in the coming weeks and thus enable the official sales launch of the A110 Rallye. The first deliveries and thus also the start of rally events should take place at the beginning of 2020.

The public premiere of the A110 Rally will take place this weekend in Morzine. The vehicle is on display in the center of the Mont-Blanc Morzine Rally paddock, where the participants of the Clio R3T Alps Trophy 2019 can also be found.
