The V6 biturbo gasoline engine in each of Alfa Romeo's two new models produces 510 hp.
At the heart of the performance of both Quadrifoglio models is the engine. The V6 biturbo gasoline engine, which is made almost entirely of aluminum and has a displacement of 2.9 liters, produces 510 hp and a maximum torque of 600 newton meters (Nm) at 2500 rpm.
Alfa Active Torque Vectoring
The active torque distribution of the limited-slip differential (Alfa Active Torque Vectoring) in the rear axle, supplemented on the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio by the Alfa Q4 all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission, ensure the transfer of engine power to the road.
Gear changes in milliseconds
Both models are equipped with a range of systems designed to guarantee an authentic driving experience at the wheel. These include the active front spoiler on the Giulia and the active suspension on both models, as well as the Alfa DNA Pro driving dynamics control system with additional "Race" mode.
When this driving mode is selected, the automatic system performs gear changes within just 150 milliseconds. All electronic driving assistance systems are coordinated in real time by Alfa Chassis Domain Control.
Heavily redesigned interior
In the interior, the redesigned center console not only enhances the tactile and visual appeal, it also offers more storage space. The seat belts are also available in red or green as an alternative to the classic black.
From the third quarter, the electrically adjustable sports seats will also be available with perforated leather upholstery instead of the standard sports seats.
Exclusive display in real time
The new infotainment system is controlled via an 8.8-inch (22.3-centimeter) touchscreen. The system enables the use of online services.
Exclusive to the Quadrifoglio models, it also offers real-time displays of important vehicle parameters.
Level 2 autonomous driving
Both Alfa Romeos will be equipped with new electronic driver assistance systems developed in collaboration with Bosch that enable so-called level 2 autonomous driving. The driver must nevertheless always maintain control of the vehicle and keep his hands on the steering wheel.
The new Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio are already available on the Swiss market, with prices starting at 96,900 francs for the Giulia and 109,900 francs for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio.
