New is the Stelvio Veloce with the Ti designation, which combines sporty style and exclusive details. In addition, alloy wheels are now also available in 21-inch format for the Stelvio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio.

Sporty vehicles also for long trips
In the nomenclature of Italian automobiles, the term Veloce (meaning fast) stands for more powerful models. And the abbreviation Ti, which stands for Turismo Internazionale, has always been used in Italian to characterize sporty vehicles that also offer a high level of comfort for long journeys.

Underride protection with striking diffuser look
In terms of exterior design, the Stelvio Veloce Ti is recognizable by its new underride guard with striking diffuser look, exterior details painted in body color such as the rear bumpers, side sills and wheel arches, and darkened rear windows.

The interior of the Veloce Ti features numerous details from the top model Quadrifoglio. These include, for example, the seats with covers in a combination of leather and Alcantara, the black headliner, and inlays made of genuine carbon fiber. Details in the gallery.

Eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive
On the engine side, the Stelvio Veloce Ti comes with a choice of a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 280 hp and a 2.2-liter turbodiesel that produces 210 hp. Both four-cylinder engines are combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Q4 all-wheel drive.

The large aluminum shift paddles on the steering column for manual commands to the automatic transmission are also standard. As with all model versions of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the propshaft is made of carbon fiber.

Controlled autonomous driving at level 2
Alfa Romeo Giulia (Gallery image right) and Alfa Romeo Stelvio offer a wide range of electronic driver assistance systems that take the strain off the driver without detracting from the driving experience. The result is autonomous driving at Level 2.

This level is reached when the vehicle takes control of the gas pedal, brake and steering under certain conditions. The driver must still be alert and keep his hands on the steering wheel.
