The newly developed two-liter unit, an in-line four-cylinder engine made of aluminum, is equipped with MultiAir electro-hydraulic valve control. Output is 200 hp, and maximum torque is 330 newton meters. Combined standard consumption is 5.9 liters, according to the factory. Within 6.6 seconds, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Super 2.0 Turbo accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h and reaches a top speed of 235 km/h. This engine is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Quadrifoglio now also with an automatic transmission
The bi-turbocharged V6 gasoline engine in the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio can now also be ordered with automatic transmission. With a displacement of 2.9 liters, the V6 gasoline engine produces 375 kW (510 hp). As with the six-speed manual transmission, the Quadrifoglio with automatic transmission needs just 3.9 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph). The top speed is 307 km/h. According to the factory, combined standard consumption is 8.2 liters (manual 8.5 liters).
