As we have always known from the models of Alfa Romeo, the "Italianità " is of great importance. The focus is always on style, attention to detail and quality, which can be seen in both the Giulia and the Stelvio.
Support through technologies
In both models, the new ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) will be available for 2020, which will improve driving and the experience for the driver.
These include technologies such as lane assist and active blind spot. In the future, you can also rely on the help of active cruise control and the recognition of speed signs with the immediate adjustment and speed.
Relief on long distances
The traffic and highway assistant, which in addition to Active Cruise Control keeps the car in the middle of the lane and adjusts the speed appropriately, makes the journey even easier, especially on long journeys.
The most important feature of all, however, is that all these functions are completely controllable via the steering wheel and manageable via the dashboard. Thus, the driver does not have to take his hands off the steering wheel for any of these settings.
More infotainment, more fun
The seven-inch dashboard is fully customizable and thus displays the most important information for the driver. The 8.8-inch display in the center console has the long-awaited touchscreen function and is thus child's play to operate. In addition, this is customizable by drag-and-drop, which also means that the display shows what the driver wants to see.
Charge smartphone wirelessly
As already mentioned, the steering wheel has important supporting functions. But on top of that, the start button of the Giulia and Stelvio is now located on the steering wheel. As a result, there is more space on the center console. The latter's new design looks tidier as a result and even offers a separate compartment in which a smartphone can be charged wirelessly.
A new shift lever and new rotary knobs underscore the Italian design. There is also a choice of the new Juntios Gt Orchre and Ville d'Este 6C Red colors for the 2020 models.
Market launch in early 2020
The Stelvio SUV will be available in a variety of engine options, starting with a 160-hp 2.2-liter turbodiesel with rear-wheel drive. The Giulia will also be available in various engine versions, with the 2.2-liter turbodiesel being offered with 136 hp.
The models will be available from the beginning of 2020. Swiss prices are not yet known.
