The spoiler is manually adjustable, as in racing, and can be locked in twelve different positions; the tilt can be set from 0 to 60 degrees.
In the maximum tilt position, the spoiler increases the aerodynamic load by up to 42 kilograms at a speed of 200 km/h. With the help of the spoiler, the number of steering corrections is reduced by almost 40 percent.
Green paint reminds records
Also on board the special Abarth 695 is, for example, the active Record Monza exhaust system. The attractive, green Monza 1958 paint scheme pays homage to the color of the first 500 Abarth, which set six international records at Monza back then, 61 years ago.
Red brake calipers are standard
Details in Campovolo Gray, including the body kit, front and rear dampers and mirror caps, round off the sports package. Campovolo Gray is also used for the scorpion sticker on the hood and the checkered decal on the roof. 17-inch alloy wheels and red Brembo brake calipers are also standard.
Tops out at 225 km/h and 250 Nm
The anniversary edition is equipped with the most powerful engine in the series. The 1.4-liter turbocharged engine produces 180 hp and 250 Newton meters of torque at 3000 rpm. Top speed is 225 km/h - provided the spoiler is at zero degrees. The Italian accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.
