From any number of drives on the kart tracks of Spreitenbach, Fimmelsberg, Roggwil, Payerne, Villeneuve and Locarno/Magadino as well as Feldkirch in Vorarlberg near the border, only the fastest lap time of each applicant will be scored. In addition, this is also possible at the Racing Fuel Academy in Horgen via Simracing. From the racing kart to the Cupra TCR
The fastest three to five drivers (depending on the kart track) will be invited to Wohlen for one day each on May 27 and 28 for the national elimination in race karting. Ten of the 40 candidates will be selected there to take part in the Cupra Race Day in Alsace on June 24. The three best at the wheel of a production-based Leon Cupra and in a Cupra TCR race touring car will each be allowed to compete in a race weekend in the ADAC TCR Germany in the summer.

Anyone can win
The best will be crowned overall winner, succeeding Oliver Holdener (2017) and Julien Apothéloz (2018). This comes with a sponsorship package worth 50,000 Swiss francs for the 2020 racing season. The coaches are professional racing drivers and AutoScout24 ambassadors Fredy Barth and Nico Müller.

The cars in the Young Driver Challenge: From the rental kart it's off to the race kart, after which the three finalists are determined with the Cupra Leon and the Cupra TCR.

Those who do not make it into the top 5 can win one of five attractive prizes. The main prize is an invitation to the TCR race in Hockenheim, including an overnight stay for two people. Other prizes include a 10-person subscription to a karting track of your choice and three GoPro Hero7 cameras.
