A brilliant show on asphalt and in the air: The Red Bull Race Days in Switzerland.
Eight years after the Red Bull Race Day in Mollis, this unique show returns to Switzerland. From loops in the air to donuts on the tarmac: on August 10 and 11, everything revolves around motorsport and aviation at the small airfield in Grenchen.
Formula 1 show with Sébastien Buemi
Spectators can look forward to an orchestrated show of rare and impressive aircraft and motor vehicles. The highlight will be Sébastien Buemi's rides in a Red Bull Racing Formula 1 race car. In front of his home audience, the show runs are something special for him, too.
Sébastien Buemi: "I'm looking forward to presenting this rare sight at top speed. For fun, though, there'll be a bit of smoke."
A touch of NASCAR in Switzerland
Austrian Patrick Friesacher demonstrates a Toyota Camry (V8 engine with over 850 hp) from the NASCAR series. Like Buemi, he looks back on several years of experience in Formula 3000 and starts in Formula 1.
Quieter, but no less spectacular will be the showcase of the Swiss Motocross Freestyle World Champion Mat Rebeaud. He now performs his loops on an e-bike.
History in the air: P-38 Lightning and Swissair DC-3
The stars in action in the sky will make aviation fans go into raptures. They range from a rare P-38 Lightning from The Flying Bulls to the Classic Formation consisting of a Swissair DC-3 and three Beech 18 aircraft. Also providing action will be a demo show by the Red Bull Air Race Team.
