Emil Frey Racing ahead of GT title win
The last two sprint races of the GT World Challenge Europe are scheduled at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. Alex Fontana is the favorite to win the Silver Cup title. The driver from Ticino is the clear leader in this hotly contested sub-ranking, as is Emil Frey Racing in the team classification.
The overall drivers' standings have already been decided in favor of the Belgian WRT duo Vanthoor/Weerts on Audi. With a similarly good team performance as at the Nürburgring (all three Lamborghinis in the top 8), the Safenwil-based team hopes to score important points for the prestigious team classification, in which they are in third position.
All practice sessions and the two one-hour races with starts on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., respectively, are available on YouTube to see.
