The 26-year-old expects the car to be capable of winning. "Our goal was to get more performance out of our package without sacrificing reliability. I hope we were able to fulfill this mission. If so, we'll be fighting for victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the WEC private team class," he said.

"During the winter break we have been extremely focused on our new package," confirmed Boris Bermes, ByKolles Race Director. "We are fully aware that our fans expect good results again - similar to last year, when we finished each of the last five races on the podium."
As in the 2015 season, Trummer will form a team with Pierre Kaffer. The ByKolles CLM P1/01 race car will be number 4. The team's LMP1 car is to be unveiled in March, before the official tests at Le Castellet.
