Rebellion Racing: In the coming season, the Swiss team will be on the grid right from the start.

To this end, the team entered two cars, as team manager Bart Hayden confirmed. Rebellion's goal is to once again be the best privateer team in the LMP1 standings. The team achieved this for the fourth time in a row in 2015. In addition, the Swiss team is sticking to its familiar driver lineup: Nick Heidfeld, Nicolas Prost, Mathias Beche, Dominik Kraihamer, Alexandre Imperatori and Mathéo Tuscher will again share one car each.

Furthermore, Rebellion is once again relying on P60 twin-turbo V6 engines from AER. "Last year, the engine in the R-One chassis was a new installation. And although we achieved our goal of taking the title, there was room for improvement, especially in reliability. That's something we worked hard on with AER to make the necessary step forward this season," said Hayden.

While Rebellion missed the first rounds of the WEC in 2015, "this time we're in from the start. Our program for the tests is already planned. And we'll be at the WEC Prologue at Paul Ricard in March as well," said Hayden.
