WEC: Rebellion with new Dunlop tires at the prologue

This year, Dunlop has joined as a new tire supplier. This means that the teams in the World Endurance Championship can now choose between Michelin and Dunlop. The speed of the race cars was also particularly impressive, taking second and third place in the top speed rankings with 335.4 km/h and 334.4 km/h respectively.
"We tested our two aero configurations with low and high downforce. The R-One cars were modified in various areas and it was interesting to see the result of these changes on the track. With a total of 15 days of testing since the season finale, it has been an intense winter. But now we are ready for the season opener at Silverstone," said Bart Hayden, Rebellion Team Manager.
At the end of the test, the number 13 Rebellion of Alexandre Imperatori, Dominik Kraihamer and Mathéo Tuscher finished fifth overall and first among the LMP1 private teams with a time of 1:41.733 minutes. The sister car with the number 12 of Nicolas Prost, Nick Heidfeld and Nelson Piquet Jr. finished sixth overall with a time of 1:42.147 minutes.
