Vespa: 75 years old and still a hit

April marks the Vespa's birthday: 75 years of history in which the Italian scooter has led trends in society, music and youth culture. With its timeless design, it has become a symbol of Italian style and reliable technology. This has not changed until today
Over the past ten years, more than 1.8 million Vespas have been produced. Three special models have now been created to mark the anniversary and will be available from April.
Anniversary edition metallic yellow lacquered
As Vespa Primavera 125 cm3 and as Vespa GTS 125 and 300 cm3 they present themselves with the usual steel bodywork in Giallo 75th, a metallic yellow. The fairings and front fender show the number 75 in a slightly bolder hue, and the traditional tie is in a matte Giallo Pirite.
Also special are the gray nubuck leather saddle, the gray painted diamond-cut rims and numerous chrome details.
The luggage rack, another distinguishing feature of the Vespa 75th Anniversary, is chrome-plated. It houses a bag whose shape is based on the typical spare wheel holder.
Rich Welcome Kit for the special series
All anniversary models are equipped with a 4.3-inch TFT color display, and the digital instrument cluster uses the capabilities of the Vespa Mia smartphone connectivity system.
To underline the exclusivity of the special series, each model comes with a Welcome Kit that includes an elegant Italian jacquard silk scarf with hand-stitched hems, a metallic Vespa Vintage shield, a personalized Owner's Book and eight postcards featuring Vespa history.
