Exclusive venues like Dubai or Barcelona, full starting fields and gripping duels - the 24H Series has everything to offer that makes motorsport hearts beat faster. For Chantal Kroll in particular, the 2015 season of the fiercely competitive endurance championship will be remembered forever. She secured overall victory and made motorsport history in the process.
In the all-important race in Brno, the Zurich native decided the title duel against Hal Prewitt. Kroll thus put the icing on the cake of an all-round successful season. The 33-year-old competed in both the BMW M3 and the Mercedes SLS and recorded numerous top finishes. Her highlights included second place overall in the 24-hour race in Barcelona.
Behind the fast woman from Zurich is a strong family. Or rather, a strong family team. "The most important people are my father Michael and my uncle Martin," explains Chantal Kroll. "I thank my father for taking me to the race tracks again and again ten years ago and infecting me with racing fever. To my uncle for starting the Hofor Racing adventure together with us."
Chantal Kroll hangs up her helmet every Monday after the race weekends. That's when the likeable motor sportswoman returns to her daily office routine.
