In 2015, the 25-year-old was champion in the Renault Clio Cup Central Europe, also for Steibel Motorsport. "Claus Steibel will be in charge of the TCR car. The TCR and the Clio Cup Central Europe both race in the ADAC GT Masters. That's why Claus can do the double program. This will be a big, new challenge for the team and for me," said Eberle.

Eberle already gained his first experience in the new car in November 2015. "I got on really well with the car at the test in Hockenheim and that's a good sign for the new season," he explained.

Pascal Eberle is the second Swiss in the field alongside Jasmin Preisig (AutoSprintCH reported). The first race weekend of the ADAC TCR Germany will be held at Oschersleben from 15 to 17 April.
