Not only the drivers of the FIA WTCR demonstrated their skills last weekend at the Slovakia Ring, but also TAG Heuer as the official timekeeper and partner of this championship.
In race three, Frédéric Vervisch in the Audi RS3 LMS TCR and Thed Björk in the Hyundai i30 N TCR fought a door-to-door duel for third place. Both crossed the finish line at the same time after 32 minutes and 33.7 seconds.

TAG Heuer's timing team, in collaboration with ITS Chrono, managed to calculate the difference of 0.0002 seconds between Vervisch and Björk. The Belgian thus still ousted last year's WTCC champion from Sweden from the podium.
A milestone in time measurement
According to TAG Heuer, this is the first time in motorsport that such a small time difference between two competitors has been calculated, strengthening the Chaux-de-Fonds-based company's position as a leader in timekeeping.
