Among the visitor magnets in 2017, in addition to highlights from over 400 top brands, were the European premiere "Arab Diamond" and the private collection of racing legends Joey and Robert Dunlop. The trend this year was retro bikes, affordable all-rounders, futuristic designs and even more electronics. When it comes to motorcycle clothing, classic design, individual outfits and, above all, lifestyle are increasingly becoming the focus of interest.
For the first time, the best motorcycle and bicycle mechanics in Europe were competing to win the winner's trophy at Swiss-Moto 2017. The candidates from Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Switzerland each completed ten work items in the two-day competition and were put through their paces by experts. In the end, Claudio Rossi (20) from Basel came out on top and was crowned Europe's best motorcycle mechanic. In the bike category, 19-year-old Jonas Roth from Menzingen beat his rivals.
The next Swiss-Moto will be held at Messe Zürich from February 22 to 25, 2018.
