At this year's Swiss-Moto, over 400 brands will be showing the new products for the coming motorcycle season. Harley-Davidson presents a world premiere.
One of the main attractions at the Swiss-Moto Drom is the Wall of Death surrounded by spectators. Here there are pure thrills for the spectators.
More than 200 of these Universal A 1000 combat sidecars were in service with attached anti-tank weapons in the Swiss Army from 1942 to 1969.

The focus of the largest Swiss motorcycle, scooter and tuning show in the halls of Messe Zürich in Oerlikon is on over 400 brands with the new products for the coming motorcycle season. In addition, for example, the first complete collection of Swiss army motorcycles and the most powerful electric chopper in the world will be on display. This time, Swiss-Moto also scores with a new action hall and a lot of female power.

For little money there is a lot of motorcycle this season
The trend towards retro and vintage motorcycles, the advance of electronics and the pleasing fact that there has never been so much motorcycle for so little money are clearly evident in the new products. In 2018, manufacturers from Europe and the Far East are finally abandoning their reluctance to launch new designs due to the stricter Euro 4 standards regarding noise and exhaust emissions and are presenting a flood of new products. Harley-Davidson has even decided to unveil a world premiere exclusively in Zurich.

Most powerful electric chopper with 860 Nm torque
With a weight of just 165 kilograms and a maximum torque at the rear wheel of 860 Newton meters, Swiss mechanical engineer Peter Fässler presents the world's most powerful electric chopper. To achieve this, the man from Oberiberg in central Switzerland pulled out all the stops and installed an electric motor tested at the infamous Isle of Man road race.

Virtual Reality Racing and Tuning in the Action Hall
In 2018, a newly designed hall with exciting racing duels and nerve-racking shows in the Invisible Wall of Death awaits all action fans with the Swiss-Moto Drom. In addition, Swiss-Moto is dedicating a special show to the Macau Grand Prix with a spectacular virtual reality experience on the motorcycle of road racer Horst Saiger. The integrated Customizing & Tuning Show Swiss-Custom has a new look and shows bikes of a very special kind.

Four ladies and want to break the Grizzlies record
Four daring female racers also take on a bear of a racer! The Swiss Isa Müller from Matzingen and her colleagues, the American Faith Ahlers, Anita Fastl from Austria and the Russian Tatiana Igushina, want to compete against the Zurich Grisu Grizzly alias Urs Pedraita. The goal of the four ladies: to beat his world record set in 2014 of directly circumnavigating the globe within 16 days. And the platform "Two Wheels. One Passion" platform presents not only classic motorcycle clubs, sports organizers or motorcycle festivals, but also the Swiss motorcycle women's community Girls on Bikes.
