With the Suzuki Swiss Racing Cup (SSRC), Suzuki Automobile Switzerland is once again hosting an official one-make cup in 2019. All eight races will take place as part of the Swiss Slalom Championship (Saturday or Sunday).
All drivers, regardless of nationality, who have their permanent residence in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein are eligible to participate. Required is the possession of a valid driving license of cat. B and a REG or NAT license.
Only original and registered Suzuki Swift Sport
Only Suzuki Swift Sport vehicles officially imported via Suzuki Automobile Schweiz AG from year 2018, i.e. with the 1.4-liter turbo engine, are eligible. The vehicles must be registered and in original condition.
Only Yokohama semislicks of type A052 may be used. These must be obtained from the tire partner Yokobo in Kreuzlingen.
Generous premiums and prize money
A bonus of 300 Swiss francs is reimbursed for each race (from three participations). At the end of the year, prize money totaling 27,500 Swiss francs will be distributed, plus tire vouchers from Yokohama.
To be classified in the annual ranking of the Suzuki Swiss Racing Cup, a participant must be registered and have at least three results. The form and the detailed regulations can be downloaded on the internet.
