Supercup: Fach with three new drivers

YOUNG TALENT Following its runner-up finish in 2018, Fach Auto Tech is entering 2019 with a completely new driver lineup. In the coming season, Florian Latorre, Jaxon Evans and Kantadhee Kusiri will take to the wheel of the three Porsches from Sattel. The team from Sattel tackles the seventh Supercup season with motivation.

The team from Schwyz has often proven in recent years that Fach Auto Tech is a force to be reckoned with in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. In 2014, the racing team led by Alex Fach celebrated the championship title, and in 2016 and 2018 it was runner-up. At the same time, the team is known for helping young drivers reach the absolute top level.

Rookie Champion 2018
Florian Latorre already brings experience from the Porsche Cups. In 2016 and 2017, he competed in the French Porsche Carrera Cup before switching to the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup in 2018. There, the Frenchman secured victory in the rookie classification thanks to strong performances.

Porsche Junior from New Zealand
With Jaxon Evans and Kantadhee Kusiri, two Supercup rookies will also be competing for the team from Schwyz. But Evans, a New Zealander, certainly has Porsche expertise: In 2018 he won the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia and in 2019 moved up to Porsche Junior. He is thus following in the footsteps of his compatriot and former specialist driver Earl Bamber.

Kusiri, who hails from Thailand, was crowned champion in the TCR Asia Series in 2017 and competed in the Super GT Series in 2018.

Partnership with German team
In the 2019 season, Fach Auto Tech is expanding its partnership with the friendly Project 1 team and will be fielding three more cars in the Supercup together with the racing team from Germany. The team around Hans-Bernd Kamps is also known for its extensive support of young talent and can look back on many years of experience in the Porsche one-make cups. The use of joint synergies is intended to further advance the training and promotion of young drivers.

Alex Fach: "The partnership with Project 1 offers us good opportunities to support our drivers even more extensively in the new season. In addition to his involvement in the Supercup, Jaxon Evans will get further practice and compete in the Carrera Cup Deutschland under the banner of Project 1 and JBR. With these drivers, we're sure to deliver top results."
