The e-scooter is equipped with a 9.5 hp (7 kW) motor. Its torque is 240 Nm.

In addition, the next generation of the EXS e-kickscooter launched last year was presented. Likewise, the company will establish a new business unit for urban mobility solutions to make life in the city more pleasant.

Mobility strategy in transition
The new business unit, headed by Spanish-born Lucas Casasnovas, will be responsible for developing and integrating all mobility solutions for the Volkswagen Group.

Wayne Griffiths, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer: "We need to adapt our mobility strategy to changing urban mobility and offer new solutions for tomorrow's cities that are both affordable and sustainable for the environment, cities and people."

Seat CEO Luca de Meo: "Given the continued growth of major cities, efficient and emission-free mobility is one of the biggest current challenges. With the first e-scooter in the history of our brand, we are taking the next step."

Charge is enough for 115 kilometers
The e-scooter is equipped with a 9.5 hp (7 kW) motor. It has a torque of 240 Newton meters. The peak power of just under 11kW (15 hp) corresponds to common 125-cubic lightweight scooters.

The Seat scooter accelerates to 50 km/h in 3.8 seconds, reaches a top speed of 100 km/h and travels up to 115 kilometers on one battery charge.

Information available via app
The battery can be removed in a short time in just a few steps and can thus be easily charged at a conventional power outlet or a public charging station. The energy cost is 70 cents per 100 kilometers driven. An integrated connectivity solution allows the rider to easily retrieve information about the battery charge level or the location of the e-scooter via app.

Kickscooter with more power
The next generation of the EXS e-kickscooter now features an improved range of up to 65 kilometers, a dual-circuit braking system and a more powerful battery with a capacity of 551 watt hours.
