Off the track, the budding engineers from ETH Zurich and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts are honored by experts from industry and motorsport with the Engineering Design Award for the best engineering performance. Just a few hours before the Endurance test, however, a calamity threatened to bring the team to its knees.
Second rank
Nevertheless, the students managed to finish a strong second overall despite a time penalty imposed afterwards. There are now only a few days left until the final race next weekend in Spain. A week that is far too short to iron out any final weak points and increase the reliability of "pilatus". In Barcelona, the team will again take to the track against tough competition, a spectacular season finale awaits everyone!
