The 19-year-old from Aargau set his first highlights in the 2018 ADAC GT Masters with BWT Mücke Motorsport. He stood on the junior podium a total of five times and finished the season in fourth place in the junior standings.
Dance on two weddings
Last year, Ricardo Feller celebrated his first victory in the "League of Supercars" with Land Motorsport. Three times he stood on the overall winners' podium with his regular partner Dries Vanthoor. He finished the championship in fifth place, but experienced a disappointment at the end because the title in the Junior classification slipped through his fingers through no fault of his own.
For some time now, Feller has been confirmed as one of two new drivers for Emil Frey Racing in the GT World Challenge Endurance Cup on a Lamborghini Huracán from Safenwil. He will now be joined by the seven race weekends with Mücke Motorsport.
Experienced team partner
His new partner will be Stefan Mücke, who runs the team together with his father Peter. Mücke was a works driver for Ford for many years and, like Feller, is one of the winning drivers in the ADAC GT Masters. Together they would like to achieve further successes for BWT Mücke Motorsport.
Everything better in the new year
In the 2019 season, Jeffrey Schmidt and Nikolaj Rogivue, two other Swiss, drove in this private team, but were not happy. The failures prompted the Berliners to strategically reorganize and become more professional and goal-oriented.
For this reason, the internal structures have been improved and the area of engineers and mechanics has been strengthened. The concentration from three to two cars now enables optimal preparation for each race.
For Riccardo Feller, it is to be hoped that these efforts will bear fruit in order to get closer to his goal - to become a GT works driver like Patric Niederhauser.
