The Toyota special model of the Yaris, which already celebrated successes on the race track, is produced in a strictly limited edition of only 400 pieces and can be ordered now exclusively online.

At this year's Geneva Motor Show, Toyota presented the sporty top model of the Yaris series for the first time. What was not known at the time: the Yaris GRMN will only be built 400 times and will therefore be offered as an exclusive special model. The Europe-wide online sale starts on July 27 at 6 p.m. (Swiss time).

Powerful drive
Tuned for the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the over 212-hp Yaris with a 1.8-liter supercharged engine offers top-class driving dynamics, according to the supplier. A major contribution to this is made by the reinforced chassis, improved suspension and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Inside, a leather steering wheel, aluminum sports pedals and sports seats make a strong impression. In addition, the Limited Edition, which is only available as a three-door model, offers a navigation system including DAB+. 2

Special series produced by specialists
Like all models in the Yaris range, the small sports car is produced in Valencienne, France, but by a team specializing in the manufacture of sports cars. Interested parties can already register today at www.toyota.ch  to be kept up to date with the latest information on the limited special model until the online sales launch on July 27, 2017. The price of 36,990 Swiss francs is already known. Toyota Switzerland offers the special series fully equipped and with a three-year warranty (up to 100,000 kilometers) and a free service of six years (up to 60,000 kilometers). However, everyone will have to wait until February 2018 for the first drive.
