Rarely has there been a major race series with such strong Swiss participation. All five Swiss are briefly introduced in the MySportsCH video.
MySports has never been closer to Formula E than in the 2019/2020 season, despite the fact that the racing circus is once again giving our country a wide berth after two years. On the other hand, four Swiss drivers are sitting in the cockpits for the first time in the racing series. Reason enough for the crew around program director Steffi Buchli to really step on the gas in the third Formula E season on MySports.
Marcel Fässler as racing expert
All 14 races of the 2019/2020 series, as well as the qualifying sessions and, depending on the venue, the free practice sessions, have a permanent place in the MySports lineup. The studio team, consisting of Herbert Zimmermann and former DTM driver and three-time Le Mans winner Marcel Fässler, comment on the action on the tracks.
For this purpose, a team led by presenter Gabriel Gasser will be reporting live on site at at least eight races in the magazine show "e-gfahre" about news and developments concerning the racing series, the drivers and their teams - naturally with a special focus on the four Swiss drivers.
Four Swiss drivers in the Formula E cockpits
Vice world champion Sébastien Buemi (Nissan) and Edoardo Mortara (Venturi Racing) are already old hands in the Formula E circus. Former MySports expert Neel Jani (Tag Heuer Porsche) and DTM runner-up Nico Müller (Geox Dragon) complete the Swiss driver quartet.
The team will be complemented by test driver Simona de Silvestro, who is employed by the Porsche team. She, too, is no stranger to MySports viewers, having been a regular expert on the channel during the last two championships.
Videos and documentation
On November 22 and 23, MySports One will kick off the 2019/2020 Formula E season right away with a Super Friday and a Super Saturday. The qualifying sessions will be covered from 9 a.m. on each day, and the races from 1 p.m. on.
Fans were able to prepare for the season in advance with a whole series of exclusive driver portraits, team presentations and background reports.
A comprehensive documentary about the new Formula E racing team Tag Heuer Porsche will be broadcast by MySports One on Thursday, November 21, starting at 8:15 pm. The corresponding video will also be available online from this date via the Youtube-channel of the station, as well as all other videos.
