The son of 13-time Swiss champion Jo Zeller underlined his role as favorite with the Dallara 308-Mercedes already with the best time in qualifying. After a rain shower before the start of the first race, the race organizers declared it a wet race. Some drivers from the Italian F2 Trophy, which started in the same field, opted for rain tires and therefore set the pace at the start.
As the track increasingly dried out, the drivers with treadless rubber ultimately had the advantage. Among them was not only Sandro Zeller as first of the entire field, but also Kurt Böhlen (Dallara 308-Opel), who finished second overall with a respectable gap of 16.8 seconds after 28 minutes. In fifth place, Marcel Tobler (Dallara 308-Mercedes) ensured a triple Swiss triumph in the Remus F3 standings.

Sandro Zeller remains unbeaten
For safety reasons, the start of the second race was behind the safety car, which was used several times during the rest of the race. Behind three Italians, Sandro Zeller took fourth place this time, but extended his lead in the Remus F3 Cup standings with his fourth consecutive victory. Böhlen and Tobler had to be content with places 4 and 5. Series organizer Franz Wöss is also running a Swiss Formula 3 Cup for the Swiss, which Zeller leads by a superior margin, while Tobler and Böhlen are battling it out for second place.
