From September 1 to 4, the Grisons vacation resort will host the 12th edition of the Arosa Classic Car. The team around OC President Markus Markwalder has selected the 158 registered participants from 170 entries - there is simply no room for more in the paddock at the Ochsenbühl sports facility next to the event hall. The vehicles, divided into three categories - regularity, competition and demo class - range from the pre-war era to the 1990s.

Successful Audi drivers as cab drivers
Thanks to car sponsor Audi, there is a special opportunity for those who are not actively taking part or not just following the action from the sidelines. In several blocks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, race taxi rides with works drivers and well-known drivers with a connection to the brand will be offered at the wheel of sporty Audi models. From Switzerland, these are Rahel Frey, Nico Müller and Yves Meyer. Marcel Fässler unfortunately has to miss out this year because he is competing in the World Endurance Championship in Mexico on the same weekend.

In the thick of it instead of just being there: if you want to arrive in Arosa at a brisk pace like the racing drivers, you can book a race taxi ride. A unique opportunity to get a real taste of racing air.

Former rally professionals Stig Blomqvist and Harald Demuth as well as Edward Sandström and Müller, winner of the 2015 Nürburgring 24 Hours, are the other well-known drivers. Bookings for the race taxi rides at a price of CHF 130 can already be made online and are recommended due to the expected demand.
