A selfie from the podium: Daniel Allemann and his three German teammates from Precote Herberth Motorsport were delighted with their second overall victory in a race of the FIA International Endurance Series.

At this year's third round of the FIA International Endurance Series on the spectacular dune circuit of Zandvoort, Daniel Allemann, another driver from Switzerland, took victory. He took turns at the wheel of a Porsche 991 GT3 R with twins Alfred and Robert Renauer and Ralf Bohn. The sports car entered by Precote Herberth Motorsport was the only one of the favorites to come through without any technical problems or driving errors, which translated into a lead of four laps after 368 completed laps and 2050 kilometers covered. The team from Jedenhofen (D) won the 12 Hours of Mugello (I) in March 2015 with the same lineup, but now for the first time with the new car and the distinctive starting number 911.

Second start of the split race at Zandvoort: The two Swiss Hofor-Mercedes and the later winning Herberth-Porsche dash into the lead.

Third place for last year's Swiss winners
A year ago Hofor Racing triumphed in the Dutch half marathon, this time the team from Eggenwil with Michael and Chantal Kroll, Roland Eggimann, Kenneth Heyer (D) and Christiaan Frankenhout (NL) managed third overall behind a Danish Aston Martin Vantage GT3. They suffered the biggest time loss due to difficulties with refueling because the new tank in the Mercedes AMG SLS GT3 could not be vented properly.

The second Hofor-Mercedes with GT3 rookie Bernd Küpper (D) instead of Frankenhout as one of the five drivers was in the lead after the first three hours on Friday. After the re-start on Saturday morning, however, the alternator soon had to be replaced, resulting in only 15th place overall among 43 teams.
