Motorsport: Alain Prost set for victory this season

For Alain Prost, the AutoSalon Geneva (until March 13 at Palexpo) is a home game, as the Frenchman has lived in Geneva for a good 30 years. Because if his driver Sébastien Buemi continues like this, he is sure to make the headlines. With two wins and a second place, the driver from Vaud leads the year-long championship after four of ten rounds. "We seem to have put together the best package," explains Alain Prost, who half-owns the Renault factory-backed team. "Last year these new electric cars were almost identical, now more factors are making the crucial differences because you get to develop the cars yourself in many ways. So far, the immense work done by Renault and DAMS is paying off, and Sébastien Buemi has also matured to become the best driver in Formula E. I trust him to win a few more races."

The next run starts on March 12 in Mexico
In the first season in 2014/15, Buemi missed out on the title by just one point, something that still annoys Alain Prost as much as his driver today: "We all made major and minor mistakes from which we learned for the second season. Formula E is a very difficult discipline. We've optimized a lot of things within the team, but we still have potential for improvement. If we exploit that and Sébastien continues to drive so great, then it will work out this time." The next race will take place on March 12 in Mexico City.
