The new "Battle of the Kings" contest, which calls for originality and creativity, will end in June 2016. In Phase 1, the Custom King will be chosen in each individual market, and in Phase 2, the grand finale, the national champions will compete for the coveted trophy. This final will again take place at "Wheels and Waves," arguably the most influential custom lifestyle event, which will be held in Biarritz, France, in June 2016.

This time, the basis for the custom projects is the Iron 883. The machine has undergone extensive technical and visual model upgrades for the 2016 model year. The latest generation is powered by the air-cooled Evolution Sportster V2 engine with 883 cubic centimeters displacement. Harley-Davidson counts the Iron 883 among its "Dark Custom" line, i.e. those machines that have been stripped of all superfluous parts and have a matte or glossy black vintage look to convey a contemporary underground feeling.

Points for the Custom King are awarded via online voting
In March and April 2016, Harley-Davidson will present the custom projects of participating dealers online to fans in all participating countries. Online voting and a jury will decide on the national winners. These will be presented in Biarritz, where a jury will choose the Custom King of the Year 2016.
