The Danish duo has developed impressive conversions from the Sport Heritage range in their Copenhagen workshop, including the XSR400, the XJR1300 and now the XSR900. With its signature black, the Yard Built XSR900 Monkeebeast is shaking up the custom scene and breaking new ground. The XSR900's transformation from a street machine into an off-road capable tracker is thanks in part to Borrani 17-inch spoked wheels with black rims, 9-millimeter stainless steel spokes and black hubs. Out back, the bike is equipped with K-Tech shocks, Gilles Tooling chain tensioners and a TRW rear brake disc, as well as black steel flex brake lines. The seating position has been taken to a new level with a custom seat, modified Gilles Tooling attachments with enduro footpegs, a Magura handlebar and Biltwell Renegade handlebar grips.
Direct ordering for selected, special parts
Switches from Motogadget provide the right contact, and an MT-03-style headlight and LED taillight add the necessary accents. A sonorous exhaust from SC Project tops off the modified MT-09 exhaust system, and custom rear and front fenders and engine guard from Wrenchmonkees round out the custom look. Selected parts designed specifically for the Monkeebeast will soon be available to order directly from Wrenchmonkees - for all those XSR900 riders who want to add their own unique touch to their machine.
