As part of "Road to 2121: Moto Guzzi's next 100 years", a restructuring project was unveiled in Mandello del Lario. The Moto Guzzi plant, where every single motorcycle of the eagle brand has been created for a hundred years, is being extensively renewed.
US architect Greg Lynn is creating a location where design, mechanics and culture will come together.
All about sustainability
Naturally, great importance is attached to environmental friendliness in this redesign - with sustainable materials, photovoltaic systems and efficient energy management systems.
In addition, Mandello will be a meeting place for all Guzzi riders, tourists and lovers of the brand. Therefore, there are also conference rooms as well as a hotel and a restaurant. Construction will start towards the end of the year and the reopening is planned for the first half of 2025.
Model novelty V100 Mandello
During the project presentation, a new model was also presented: the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello. However, the official model launch will not take place until November 23, 2021, at the EICMA international motorcycle show in Milan.
