The Michelin Bib Mousse replaces conventional tubes and is also lighter than a reinforced tube. With the revised sizes M14 and M199 Michelin complements its range of inserts for off-road tires. The tire manufacturer now offers a total of seven sizes with 40 variants for 18- to 21-inch tires.
Easy to handle and particularly durable
Michelin Bib Mousse inserts are specially designed for tires of enduro, cross country rally and motocross motorcycles. In the event of a complete loss of pressure, the tire retains its load-bearing capacity thanks to the ring. This corresponds to an air pressure of 0.9 bar. It thus ensures that the rider remains mobile even in the event of a flat tire. This brings more mobility, grip and lateral adhesion and increases the life of the tires. Bib Mousse M14 and M199 were developed with a new formula specifically for the tires Enduro Medium and Starcross 5.
The product's reputation is based on 35 victories since 1982 in the Dakar Rally - the toughest motorcycle race in the world - as well as 22 Enduro World Championship titles and 7 victories in Motocross World Championships.
