Kristaps Blušs from the Latvian capital Riga is one of the world's best in his field. The 36-year-old Latvian is currently seventh in Formula Drift, the highest league for lateral drivers. He already has two podium finishes to his name in 2017.
The company HGK Scuderia Ltd., behind which Kristaps Blušs stands, builds the racing vehicles for this operation area itself, also for competitors. The Eventcenter Seelisberg, which makes this operation in Reitnau possible together with the organizing ACS Mitte, also has vehicles from HGK in its fleet, such as the Toyota GT86 V8 of instructor Yves Meyer.

Blušs and Meyer plan to climb the Reitnau racetrack in parallel flight. They will be joined by Franz Hunkeler, also an instructor from Seelisberg, in the 850-hp Lexus, and Remo Huonder and Patrick Müller in their Mitsubishi Evo IV from the Time Attack Masters series.

In the end, Berguerand, Steiner, Meisel & Co. and the whole of Swiss motorsport will have something to gain from this...
