Land Rover: Now we're really getting down to business 🎥

Bowler's Defender 90 is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 300 horsepower.

Named Bowler Defender Challenge, the bolide is based on the Land Rover Defender 90 and features a two-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with 300 horsepower as its power source.

A vehicle will celebrate its public premiere at the Iceland Hill Rally, which this year runs from August 6 to 8 over several stages totaling around 400 kilometers.

Twelve vehicles make up the starting field
As part of the new Bowler Defender Challenge racing series, seven rallies will be held in the UK from March 2022 - dates and locations will be announced by Bowler in the course of the year. A total of twelve vehicles will make up the starting field of the one-make cup.

Each team starts with an identically prepared Defender from Bowler.

The rally series sees itself as an open racing platform: it is aimed at both experienced rally drivers and newcomers without competition experience. For the latter, Bowler offers appropriate training and a wide range of support to acquire the necessary racing license before entering the series.

Training, race logistics or vehicle support
Bowler offers various package solutions for participation in the Bowler Defender Challenge - starting with a package for approximately 116,600 euros, which includes a Defender Challenge model prepared by Bowler, entry into the race series starting in March 2022 and support at the competitions. Bowler's other offerings include training, race logistics or vehicle support.
