Karting: Loïc Vindice pulls away from the opponents

At the fourth round of the Kart-SM sponsored by autobau in Vesoul (F), three drivers won all the races in their class. KZ2 podium with a guest winner in the middle: Loic Vindice, Nelson Bondier and Isabelle von Lerber.

Although Loïc Vindice was beaten in all three heats in the KZ2 class for shifter karts by Frenchman Nelson Bondier, who was not classified, he was clearly the fastest Swiss driver in both heats and in the final. "Everything went great this weekend, I left the leading Frenchman alone because he doesn't count for us. That's why I focused my race towards the back and protected my equipment as much as possible in the heat," said the winner and championship leader, explaining his tactics.

Isabelle von Lerber, who also drove strongly but was previously unlucky, finished in second place: "That was compensation for the two retirements in the heats, where I was rammed off the track both times." However, because she practically saved new tires for the final, her pursuers had no chance. Paul Hökfelt in third place also complained of problems with the chassis and engine.

Mike Müller's victorious return
Hicham Mazou dominated all three races in the Iame X30 Challenge Switzerland. Next to him on the podium were Kevin Wälti and Norick Lehner, who finished in the top 3 in all three races and therefore did not lose too many points to championship leader Mazou. In the X30 Juniors, Mike Müller returned from his several-week ban (unsportsmanlike conduct in Lignières) with victories in all three races. Miklas Born achieved his best result to date as runner-up in the final. Samuel Weibel finished first in the OK Seniors. However, as he subsequently received a time penalty for leaving the corridor at the start, which Fabio Leimer was aware of and therefore did not attack him at all costs, the 2013 GP2 champion emerged as the winner ahead of Yannik Kläy and Weibel.

The final of the youngest (Super Mini) began with a pile-up. Alessio Fagone got tangled up with his team-mate Antonio Lagrotteria. Fagone spun off the track in the general confusion and had to rejoin the grid in last place. Lagrotteria, on the other hand, escaped unscathed and won the race ahead of Lignières winner Elia Sperandio and Samir Ben.
