"A tough job" for the KZ2 winner: Isabelle von Lerber (#112) in front of Vincenzo Alvaro (#117) and her pursuers.

The third round of the autobau Swiss Kart Championship in Wohlen was not only good advertising for Swiss junior racing. Above all, it was proof that Switzerland has a few fast female racers in addition to many talented drivers.

First Isabelle von Lerber in the KZ2...
Under the motto "The best comes at the end", the final of the KZ2 offered suspense right up to the finish line. Isabelle von Lerber played a major role in this. Thanks to an excellent start, the Bernese took the lead in the first corner. And although the pressure was immense over 26 laps, the Swiss-Hutless rider successfully prevailed against Vincenzo Alvaro and Denis Tuia.

Isabelle von Lerber: "I didn't have time to catch my breath and had to keep driving battle lines. But I'm very relieved that I withstood that pressure. It was a great race."

She showed it to all the boys in the final of the royal class: Isabelle von Lerber.

In the two preliminary races, von Lerber still had to settle for 5th and 4th place. In the first race, Dominik Weibel was ahead of his brother Samuel. In the second heat, the order was exactly the opposite. Vincenzo Alvaro completed the podium in both races.

Because Mike Müller, the leader in the switch karts, did not finish higher than 4th, 9th and 6th in Wohlen, the chasers have made up some ground. Müller still leads with 180 points. But behind him lurk von Lerber (142), Alvaro (137), Samuel (133) and Dominik Weibel (115).

... then Léna Bühler in the X30 Challenge Switzerland
Léna Bühler celebrated her third win of the season in the X30 Challenge Switzerland. But this time, the fast lady from Yverdon not only stood at the top in the final, she also decided both heats in her favor. Behind her, the other two title contenders Savio Moccia and Rafael Aguiar shared the places of honor. At the halfway point of the championship, Bühler is ahead with 171 points, followed by Aguiar (165) and Moccia (146).

Podium for Ekaterina Lüscher
Ekaterina Lüscher was the third successful lady. The Exprit driver had a thrilling duel with Elia Sperandio in the final of the OK Juniors and, after finishing third in the second heat, climbed onto the podium in the final as well. The undisputed winner of the final was Sebastian Kraft, who was successful in the second heat after finishing 2nd in the first heat. In the SKM Sperandio leads 21 points ahead of Kraft.

Sewer gets going
The reigning OC Senior Champion Patrick Näscher also got better and better in the course of Saturday. Still fourth in the first heat, the Liechtensteiner improved to second place in the second heat. In the OK Senior final, the defending champion then left no stone unturned and won ahead of Lukas Muth (winner in heat 2) and Pascal von Allmen. The latter leads the standings with 145 points ahead of Timo Moser and heat 1 winner Alain Baeriswyl with 116 each and Näscher with 115 points.

In the Super-Minis Elia Pappacena prevailed in the final against Roy Alan Shaw (winner in the second preliminary heat) and Enea Frey. Loris Achermann was the unlucky one in Wohlen. The winner of the first heat had to watch the final after he was involved in a collision before the start. Standings SKM: 1st Shaw 172, 2nd Frey 149, 3rd Pappacena 147.

Super Mini: Roy Alan Shaw (#45) ahead of Elia Pappacena (#5).
