Kart-SM: Reward for the best
CHAMPIONSHIP WITH A GIFT TABLE On December 5, the prize-giving ceremony of the autobau Swiss Kart Championship took place in Langenthal. In addition to trophies and prize money, there were also valuable non-cash prizes.
At the Hotel Meilenstein in Langenthal, the numerous kart drivers from Switzerland received their prizes in the presence of NSK President Andreas Michel and the Karting Committee headed by Theo Bertschi.
Tiziano Kuzhnini (Super Mini), Elia Pappacena (OK Junior), Savio Moccia (X30 Challenge Switzerland), Patrick Näscher (OK Senior), who was represented by his father Norbert, as well as Nicolas Rohrbasser (KZ2) were allowed to lift the cup with the "1" as champions.
Valuable watches and TCR test drives
Not only the trophies, which were presented by LMP2 driver Fabio Scherer, found their takers. The drivers were also delighted with the prize money and other non-cash prizes. The top 3 in the X30, OK Senior and KZ2 categories each received a chronograph from watch sponsor Formex.
The champions in the OK Junior, X30, OK Senior and KZ2 categories were presented with a voucher for a test drive in the VW Golf GTI TCR from Autorama Motorsport by Wolf-Power Racing by automobile racing driver Yannick Mettler and Autorama team boss Stefan Tanner. The four champions can redeem this prize in spring 2022.
Even newcomers do not go empty-handed
Other winners of the evening included the rookies. In each category, the best rookie was awarded a trophy. This year's winners are Sebastien Hirschi (Super Mini), Ethan Ischer (OK Junior), Alessio Strollo (X30), Lyon Mathur (OK Senior) and Michel Liechti (KZ2).
In the women's ranking across all categories, eleven-year-old Chiara Bättig won ahead of Tina Hausmann.
The next season starts on April 17 in Franciacorta, Italy. The other dates: May 22, Mirecourt (F); July 3, 7 Laghi (I); August 21, Levier (F); October 8, Wohlen.
