Moving action
Three female drivers and 55 male drivers who registered for the IS Trophy competed in at least one race in Swiss slaloms and mountain races in the Interswiss (IS) group in 2019 - more than ever before. Regardless of whether just one or all twelve races _ each and every one came in the final standings. The approximately 23-minute countdown shows all IS vehicles first as photos and then in sometimes spectacular film sequences. Snapshots of the drivers also provide entertainment.
Catch basin
The group Interswiss unites special touring cars and GT cars which were internationally or nationally homologated or officially recognized and approved by the NSK as one-make cup vehicles of the type "touring car". Since their homologation/recognition has expired, they find a catch-all in Group IS, but must not be younger than ten years old. Quite a few vehicle owners did not adhere to these regulations in the past few years, but in 2020 strict adherence to the regulations will again be observed.
Neff return
Among the most "modern" in the field are currently the Porsche 997 GT3 Cup and R, which usually settle the group victories among themselves. The multiple record holder is Frédéric Neff, the 2017 and 2018 touring car mountain champion, with his 996 GT3 R. Since he was unable to sell it and no longer wants to compete primarily abroad, the Bernjurassier will tackle a full SM season again in 2020 and see where that takes him.
A thanks to the filmmakers
