Iron Dames: Learning from fast ladies 🎥

ENGAGEMENT The two Iron Dames Rahel Frey and Doriane Pin inspired young people to take up motorsport and study with a technical focus at an event for young talent at Prema Racing's headquarters.

The two Iron Ladies Rahel Frey and Doriane Pin, representatives of an initiative by Prema Racing and the British company Enovation Consulting Ltd, met with youngsters aged nine to twelve at the racing team's factory. There, they exchanged ideas with the kids about their passion and experiences in racing.

Deborah Mayer, founder of the Iron Dames Project, says, "I think it's important to motivate young women to pursue their dreams in motorsports. Recommending technical and scientific fields of study to them can help them see their possibilities."

The goal is a career in motorsports

The aim of the event was to make studying in the direction of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) palatable to the young people. In the field of motorsports, where innovation and progressive thinking are particularly important, well-trained engineers will continue to be in high demand in the future. The initiative with the two female racers is intended not only to encourage women to get involved in racing, but also to make a career in motorsports accessible to all young people.

Rahel Frey, Swiss racing driver and project manager: "It was a great event. Meeting the school kids, we were able to answer a lot of questions and also let them drive in the simulator."
