The background: Honda is currently launching the new Civic e:HEV (gallery on the right), followed by the Civic Type R (gallery on the left). Both are among the legends of automotive history. The Civic e:HEV comes to Switzerland exclusively electrified as a full hybrid.
50 years of Honda Civic and 25 years of Honda Civic Type R are one more reason to experience the new technologies on all levels, virtual and real.
The TCR Swiss Virtual Racing Series powered by Honda, newly announced this year, is one of the four official classes of the nationally announced e-sports championship under the sporting sovereignty of Auto Sport Schweiz.
Test day on a race track as a prize
The Power of Dreams, Honda's well-known slogan, will come true this year for the winner of the TCR Swiss Virtual Series powered by Honda.
In addition to the championship title, there is a prize that leads from the virtual to the real world of racing. Honda invites the champion to a test day at a race track to drive a real racing car.
As part of the driver training, under the direction and supervision of JAS Motorsport, the winner of the TCR Swiss Virtual Series powered by Honda will be initiated into the driving and racing techniques on the Civic TCR.
Identically set Switzerland simulators
The new Swiss Simracing Series class is a series of hotlap events in the Honda Civic TCR on Assetto Corsa (PC). Both the qualifying and the finals are run on identically tuned, Swiss-made RacingFuel simulators.
