So after several meetings with RC30 owners clubs in Japan and Europe, the RC30 Forever program was also launched. RC30 owners expressed the desire to keep their motorcycles on the road with original Honda spare parts.

Participation in the Superbike World Championship
The legendary RC30 bike was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1987 and then made its way to Europe. It was developed to meet the homologation rules required for participation in the new World Superbike Championship.

The RC30 was hand-built at the Hamamatsu factory and powered by a liquid-cooled 748 cc 90° V4. It was equipped with the latest racing technology of the time.

Parts for engine, chassis, body and electronics
Honda has implemented this program. Thus, the motorcycle manufacturer produces about 150 new original spare parts for the RC30 model, covering the engine, chassis, bodywork and electronics. These parts can be ordered through dealers throughout Europe.

To begin, a 2017 search of the RC30 archives revealed that none of the original wooden models had survived. Unlike modern methods of 3-D computer modeling, old blueprints contain far less specific detail, which made it difficult to reproduce the new parts.

To achieve a high standard, it was necessary to involve the engineers of the time. Only with their help it was possible to make new wooden models from scratch.
