A safety car could not look more attractive. The paint job was designed by a Belgian artist.

The Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition was developed with a clear focus on racetrack performance. At the same time, the model features comprehensive safety and driving assistance technologies.

Made for the race track
In addition, the Civic Type R Limited Edition is equipped with numerous features for best circuit performance: 20-inch BBS alloy wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, floating brake discs and modified shock absorbers.

The reduced interior also contributes to the fact that the Civic Type R in the Limited Edition is 47 kilograms lighter than in the GT trim.

The Civic Type R's 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine produces 320 hp at 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes just 5.7 seconds.

The special Honda Civic rolls on 20-inch wheels from BBS with semislicks from Michelin.

Artistic painting
The safety car is presented in the exclusive "Sunlight Yellow" paint finish. The racing livery is inspired by the dynamic design of the production model.

It was designed by the Belgian artist Vanuf. In the past, he has already designed numerous official racing liveries for Honda touring cars.

Successful record chase
On the Suzuka GP circuit in Japan, the Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition set a new lap record for front-wheel drive cars in 2'23.993.

This new record continues the successful record chase of the compact sports car. In 2017, the Honda Civic Type R GT set a new lap record for front-wheel drive vehicles on the Nürburgring Nordschleife with 7'43.8 minutes. Subsequently, a production-specification Civic Type R GT set further lap records for front-wheel-drive production vehicles at five legendary European race tracks.

Focus on Europe
The 2020 WTCR season comprises a total of six events on European circuits. The season kicks off on the weekend of September 12 and 13 at the Salzburgring in Austria. The highlight will be the two rounds on the Nordschleife as part of the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

A total of four Honda Civic Type R TCR will start: two for the racing team ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport and two more for ALL-INKL.DE Münnich Motorsport.

Due to the planning uncertainty regarding races overseas, all WRC rounds will take place on the European continent.
