Sportster S
The front and rear wheels of the new Sportster S are guided in fully adjustable suspension elements.

At the heart of the new Harley-Davidson Sportster S is the Revolution-Max 1250T V2 with variable valve timing. With its 122 hp, it gives the two-wheeler a rich kick from the rev range, and the tight, lightweight chassis ensures great agility.

From traffic light to traffic light and from one curve to the next, the Sportster S offers precisely that kick that is typical of this series.

Completely new developed model

Jochen Zeitz, chairman and president of Harley-Davidson, said, "The Sportster S is the next new development, building on the Revolution Max platform to set new performance standards for the Sportster line."

In profile, the machine appears flat and powerful, with the tank and rear forming a visual frame for the engine. The massive front tire evokes associations with the front ends of classic bobbers, while the rear with a raised exhaust and solo seat is reminiscent of the flattrack racer XR750.

Ready to ride, the Sportster S weighs just 228 kilograms. The raised 2-in-1-in-2 exhaust system provides a pleasantly sonorous sound.

Three driving programs for safe driving
For a safe driving experience, the new model brings the full spectrum of modern technology: three driving modes, two of which are freely programmable so that the driver can tailor the driving experience even more specifically to his or her personal preferences.

Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements, a package of assistance systems, adapts power delivery and driving dynamics to the respective grip during acceleration, sliding and braking.

Infotainment comes from the Bluetooth terminal
A round TFT display as the main instrument is used to display all riding information as well as infotainment from the rider's Bluetooth terminal device. With the Harley-Davidson app, the rider has music, navigation and hands-free functions under control at all times.

The first examples of the Sportster S will arrive at authorized dealers in the fall and will be available at prices starting at 17,850 Swiss francs.
