The model of a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy faithfully reproduced from 1023 Lego bricks
Soon, celebrity bikers could be putting a Harley-Davidson on the coffee table, as the Lego Group is launching one of the world's best-known models, the Fat Boy, for DIY.
Brad Richards, Vice President Styling & Design Harley-Davidson: "The Creator Expert Set Harley-Davidson Fat Boy transports the myth of freedom in a construction kit assembled with great passion from over 1000 parts."

Motor with movable piston
The attention to detail is evident in the 1023-part kit not only in the typical teardrop-shaped tank, the robust disc wheels and the speedometer in the tank console, but also in moving elements. These include components such as handlebars, shift and brake levers as well as the rear tire and the Milwaukee-EightTM engine with moving pistons and two superimposed mufflers.
Original motorcycle from 69 569 bricks
In addition to the Fat Boy made of Lego elements, a 1:1 scale model of the machine was built by the design team in 865 working hours from 69 569 Lego bricks - fully equipped with silver-plated components, Wi-Fi animation control and sound and light effects - a faithful replica.
