The winners after evaluation and award ceremony at the Ace Cafe in Rothenburg LU: "We are incredibly proud of our team's performance. The fact that we were able to beat the creations of the other Swiss Harley-Davidson dealers speaks for the creativity and ingenuity of our technicians. The competition was very strong."
With their victory, the Bernese Oberlanders secured a place in the grand finals, where the national champions will meet at Wheels and Waves, arguably Europe's most influential custom lifestyle event, in Biarritz, France, in June. This year, Harley-Davidson Athens won.

This time, the Iron 883 served as the basis for the custom projects. It belongs to the Sportster model family, which is currently enjoying great popularity in the scene of young customizers. Harley-Davidson counts the Iron 883 among its Dark Custom line, which, stripped of all superfluous parts in a matte or glossy black vintage look, conveys a contemporary underground feeling. To underscore the fact that it doesn't take a fat wallet to further customize a Dark Custom bike, the budget for the conversion measures in the Battle of the Kings Custom Contest was strictly limited.
